On this unique retreat you’ll learn how to eat, cook, and grocery shop like a nutritionist, in order to improve your health, master your metabolism, and lose or maintain a healthy weight. Led by NYC-based Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Maria Marlowe, you’ll leave feeling lighter, more confident in the kitchen and grocery store, and with a plan to eat healthy no matter how hectic life gets.
You’ll learn yoga from Maria Maniati, certified Vinyasa, Yin, and Nidra yoga teacher and mindful eating coach from Athens, Greece. It will be a week rich in yoga, meditation, nutrition coaching, plant-based/gluten-free/sugar-free cooking classes, and excursions. You will enjoy lounging by the pool, exploring the Tuscan countryside, horse riding, massages and daily delicious Tuscan farm-to-table food, combined with Maria Marlowe's exquisite recipes.

Maria Marlowe, CHC is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Founder of mariamarlowe.com, a place to learn how to optimize our diet and lifestyle to look and feel our best every single day. The site is a source for easy delicious healthy recipes that support beauty from the inside out, actionable nutrition tips that work, and meal plans and classes that help readers reach their health goals – such as weight loss or reversing acne. She opened her practice in New York in 2013, and has since coached hundreds of people – from moms to business executives to celebrities - to healthier eating habits. Vinyasa, Yin and Nidra Yoga with Maria Maniati
Before Maria Maniati she became a professional yoga teacher, she worked as an anthropologist for the most renowned Greek scientific research center. She is also co-founder of an NGO with the mission to educate people to achieve a positive relation with healthy nutrition. Yoga has been for her the way to handle the stressing lifestyle of her hometown, the Greek metropole Athens. Her teaching focuses on self-acceptance, positive psychology and mindfulness. She practices her personal combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, and is an expert in Yoga Nidra.
American Coffee, tee, fruits and nuts will be ready for you in the early morning (self service) You will start your day with a strengthening lesson of Vinyasa Yoga . After yoga, you will have a delicious breakfast (buffet) between 9:30–(approximately) 10:30 a.m. Between breakfast and lunch, there will be a balanced mix of nutrition coaching, cooking classes and free time. Your Lunch (buffet) will be served between 1:30–3 p.m. After lunch you can enjoy your free time with horse back riding, hiking, a massage or just lounging by the pool. In the late afternoon there will be nutrition coaching and a relaxing yoga lesson (Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation). Dinner (buffet) is served at 8 p.m. After dinner free time. (One the days with escursions, this general schedule will be adapted accordingly)
Three excursions (2 full-day, one half-day) are included in this retreat: 1) You will visit the world famous city of Siena, the second "capital of Tuscany", with its amazing central square "piazza del Campo" and its spectacular cathedral. 2) You will visit the unique and magic medieval "town of towers" San Gimignano. 3) You will explore the local Tuscan Organic farm "il cerreto" , together with your Grocery Guide Maria Marlow!
The food is prepared by the experienced vegetarian italian cook Patrizia and her team, under supervision of the owner and chef Marion Riedmiller. The food is a mostly vegetarian, and combines traditional Tuscan recipes with the needs of a healthy and light yoga diet. Special highlights are the magic recipes of Maria Marlowe.
